Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council

The Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC) delivers programs to promote and facilitate procurement opportunities between major corporations in Canada and suppliers of all sizes owned and operated by Canadian Aboriginals and minorities. The organization aims to boost economic development efforts and employment within these communities. SCMA partners with CAMSC to educate Canadian supply chain management professionals on best practices in supplier diversity.


Canadian Chamber of Commerce

Canada's largest business association, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce is the primary connection between business and the federal government. It seeks to influence public policy on national and international business issues and is focused on fostering a strong, competitive economic environment that benefits Canada. SCMA is a member of the Chamber and has participated in the Chamber's advocacy on Canada's transportation infrastructure, reducing border costs and Buy American provisions.


Canadian Public Procurement Council

The Canadian Public Procurement Council is the leading resource for public procurement in Canada. Providing appropriate leadership and promoting dialogue in public procurement, the CPPC adds value to the supply chain management function of its member organizations. The CPPC considers the operational impacts of emerging policies and practices in public procurement, including trade agreements, the electronic marketplace and public-private partnerships. It also promotes the exchange of ideas, information and experiences on procurement-related activities.


Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council

The Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council (CSCSC) brings together partners in the sector to develop solutions to the human resource challenges faced by stakeholders. Recognizing the vital role of the supply chain to Canada's economy, the Council is committed to enhancing the sector's ability to attract and retain workers across all functions, at all levels, and to advancing the skills of those workers. SCMA is one of six original pillar associations to form the CSCSC, which launched in 2006.


International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management

The International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM) is the union of 43 national and regional purchasing associations worldwide. IFPSM facilitates the development and distribution of knowledge to elevate and advance the global procurement profession. SCMA is a founding member of IFPSM, and the sole Canadian association to represent the country's supply chain management professionals in the Federation. IFPSM adopted the SCMA Code of Ethics as its own in 1983.

The Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA) is Australia's largest association for Supply Chain and Logistics SME's, professionals and practitioners. We are a member based organisation and at our very core is our mission to serve and advance the interests of Supply Chain and Logistics professionals and practitioners (SCL) in Australia. We do this through the development of the profession and practice of SCL, collaboration with industry stakeholders and promotion and recognition of worldwide best practice.
